Jason initially took charge at Whitton United Reserves, who played in the Thurlow Nunn Reserve league.
In his 3 seasons as manager the team achieved two 4th place finishes and a Senior Reserve cup final.
Jason then got offered the job to manage Haughley United First Team who play in the SIL senior league. Jason spent 4 seasons at the club all with well placed finishing positions in the league whilst also guiding them to get to several Cup Finals, one being the Suffolk FA Senior Cup final at Portman Road.
Jason moved to manage Diss Town First Team. Jason states: ‘This was a massive task. We had only one player signed on with only 2 weeks until the season started, far from ideal with them playing in the Thurlow Nunn League Division 1. I took on the challenge and quickly built a side finishing the first season in 10th place.
Unfortunately the 2nd season saw me having to leave halfway through this season due to family commitments’.
Jason has added: ‘Since then I’ve managed at Bungay Town, Achilles and Bramford, all really short periods at the clubs as I try and find my path back into managing at a good level again. Those clubs all had great people behind the scenes and made me very welcome
